WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Hundreds of people laced up their running shoes in Wauwatosa for a good cause.
The 29th annual Steve Cullen Healthy Heart Run and Walk was on Saturday morning, Feb. 8.
Participants took part in the 8K, or the 2-mile run or walk, benefiting cardiac research efforts.
The funds support innovative heart research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
We're told the event has raised over $650,000 since the start.
The event is inspired by former Milwaukee Alderman Steve Cullen, who died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 40.
