MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- On this day in 1862, the Mexican army defeated the French empire at the Battle of Puebla, which is the reason for the holiday "Cinco de Mayo".
We are leaning into the spirit of the holiday with a Wisconsin twist Wednesday, May 5. We are making chicken breasts stuffed with ham and Oaxaca cheese made right here in Wisconsin!
Joining us on CBS 58 Morning News is Debbie Crave. Crave is the Vice President of Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese, which is the only producer of Oaxaca cheese in the state. Crave joins us to share how to make this cheese that originated in Mexico.
