MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin residents are being advised to prepare for the summer storm season. Brendan Conway with WEC Energy Group joined us on Thursday, June 22 to discuss the importance of knowing what to do in case of power loss during storms.
Conway provided insights into preparation measures, actions to take during power outages and how We Energies prepares for storms and outages.
Among the tips he discussed was recommending assembling an emergency kit. The kit should include flashlights with extra batteries, a half-gallon of bottled water per day for each person, a first-aid kit, a portable charging pack for cell phones and mobile devices and specialty items for infants, seniors, or family members with disabilities.
