MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast is open to girls in grades K-12, offering ways to join school or community troops, form new ones, or participate individually.
Scouts Lauren, V. Gemma V. and Elizabeth Z. joined us on Friday, Oct. 3 to talk a bit about Girl Scouts.
Membership is $70 per girl and $30 per adult, with financial assistance available. Programs focus on four pillars: life skills, outdoors, STEM and entrepreneurship.
Parents can expect activities such as service projects, camp, leadership awards, travel and community connections. Older girls can take part in the Leadership Network, Media Girls, emergency services camp and the Gold Award. Travel options range from troop trips to international destinations.
All the information needed to get started can be found by clicking here.
