MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The City of Milwaukee is making it easier for kids to have fun and learn over the summer.
The City launched a website called HotSummerMKE.com. For the past three summers, the website has listed summer school options, enrichment programs, and special events.
The resource is designed to close the achievement gap and prevent the "summer slide."
"We have a lot of great programs for our part of the county, parks, partners with our good friends at the Y to offer all sorts of enriching programs that are correlated with educational outcomes," said Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele.
