Hometown hero: Frazier wins Home Run Derby

It looks like the Home Run Derby's new format is a big hit with fans.

Reds third baseman Todd Frazier hit the derby winning home run during bonus time, beating Dodgers rookie Joc Pederson in the Home Run Derby finals and sending Cincinnati's Great American Ballpark into a frenzy.

Former Brewer and two-time Derby champion Prince Fielder was eliminated in the first round by the eventual champion Frazier, 14-13.

The Derby tested out a new bracket-based format this year that included timed rounds and a time out that could be called in the middle of a round.
