Homes evacuated due to gas leak in Fox Point neighborhood

FOX POINT, Wis. (CBS 58) – A gas leak briefly disrupted a neighborhood in Fox Point on Monday.
We Energies crews were called out to East Lilac Lane in Fox Point for what the North Shore Fire Department called a “significant natural gas line leak.”
At the time, several homes were being evacuated. Monday afternoon, We Energies said only three homes were left without gas service for a short time. Everything has since gone back to normal in the neighborhood.
