The Home and Garden Show underway at State Fair Park.

The sights and sounds are like you would expect, fragrant and delightful and sure to get you in the mood for a garden party.

Among the hot trends, LED lighting. It's come a long way since its invention and can be operated with a smart phone or android device.

Jamon Peterson of Extreme Exteriors set up a deluxe garden fountain and lighting system that is sure to wow the crowd.

\"So you can have it powered up for a party at 100%. Or if you're outside with your husband or wife, dim it down, something more secluded.\"

If you like to get your hands dirty but don't have a lot of space, have you considered container gardening?

We're not just talking flowers, we're talking veggies too.

\"By the proper techniques you're going to work with color and texture,\" explained Pat Collins of Trees on the Move. \"Vary the heights to really be a show piece all summer long.\"
