Holiday train rolls into Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE-Hundreds of kids gathered at the Amtrak station Wednesday night to see the holiday train.

Some tell us they waited as long as two hours and it was worth it because Santa was on board and handed out candy canes to as many children as he could.

For 15 years, Canadian Pacific has been sending brightly decorated trains through Canada and the United States, spreading holiday cheer.

Those who came to see the train were asked to drop off food items or make a cash donation for food pantries.

The crows lingered as one of the cars opened to reveal a rock and roll holiday band, before the train moved on to Hartland for the last stop of the night.

Before arriving in Milwaukee, it delighted crowds in Sturtevant, Racine County.
