Hit and run vehicle located in Racine County
A 20-year-old Town of Raymond man has been arrested and charged with the hit and run accident that injured two Milwaukee men Saturday in Racine County. The Racine County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ryan Holterman on Monday, following an investigation into the accident. According to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office, investigators found the suspect’s vehicle hidden at a residence not far the accident scene on I-94 just south of State HWY 11. Besides felony hit and run, Holterman has been charged with misdemeanor causing bodily harm by reckless driving and failure to report an accident.
Two Milwaukee brothers were injured around 5:30 PM Saturday when their car was struck by another vehicle as it was parked along I-94. The victim’s car was having mechanical problems and was parked along the shoulder of the freeway with its hazard lights flashing when it was struck by the suspect’s vehicle. One of the men was treated at All Saints Hospital in Racine for non-life threatening injuries the other had minor injuries and was not transported by ambulance to the hospital.
