History Bike Tours being offered this summer in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Learn about the history of Milwaukee and get in some exercise! The Milwaukee County Historical Society and Pabst Mansion are offering History Bike Tours this summer.

According to a news release, the bike tours will add a new and immersive way to explore Milwaukee.

The tours are in partnership with Bublr Bikes, participants can enjoy the tours with their own bicycle or can rent one at a nearby Bublr station.

Three tours will leave from MCHS: A Bridge Home: A Historic Bicycle Tour of the Bridges that Once Divided our Milwaukee Home; Milwaukee History and Beer Garden Bike Tour; and History and Beer Bike Tour: Haunted Milwaukee. One tour will leave from the Pabst Mansion: The Pabst Legacy: A Baron and His Brewery.

Tours range in price from $25 to $40 per person. Participants can add on a bike rental for $12 per person and this includes use of a bike for up to 24 hours.

Tours begin in May and are offered into October.
