WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- We're officially in the holiday season, and you may be in the market for a real tree.
This may look like an ordinary tree stand, but it also represents what the holiday season is all about.
Students and parents from Wauwatosa East and Wauwatosa West come together every year to put on a fundraiser at Leff's Lucky Town in Wauwatosa. You heard that right -- competitors coming together off the field to help make each other better on the field.
"With Wisconsin weather, it's expensive to find indoor practice time for the kids," said Garrett Butenhoff, parent of a Tosa West baseball player.
"It's really cool to meet new people and interact with everyone," added Tosa West baseball player Ian Butenhoff.
"Working here is not just impacting me," said Tosa East baseball player Montgomery O'Brien. "It's impacting my team and the people at West, too."
Trees are for sale seven days a week starting at 4 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. on weekends.
The fundraiser goes until they run out.
