Here's where snow emergencies have been declared in SE Wisconsin

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The following communities have announced snow emergencies for the upcoming days. 

Franklin

The City of Franklin has declared a snow emergency from 5:24 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 12 - 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13.

No on-street parking is allowed during this period.

Germantown

A snow emergency is in effect from 6 p.m. Jan. 12 through 6 a.m. Jan. 14. During these hours, street parking is prohibited.

Greendale

The Village of Greendale is declaring a snow emergency from 9 a.m. Jan. 12- 5 p.m. Jan. 13. 

No vehicles may be parked, and no commercial or industrial vehicle may be loaded or unloaded on any public street, alley or highway in the village during this period. Vehicles in violation are subject to being plowed in or towed at the owner's expense. If parking is needed, municipal parking lots are available. 

Snow must be removed from walkways within 12 hours after snowfall, and icy sidewalks must be made safe for pedestrian travel. People involved ins now removal from sidewalks or driveways are not allowed to push, plow or blow snow onto or across village roads. 

Greenfield

The City of Greenfield is issuing a snow emergency from Jan. 12 at 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Jan. 13. 

Kenosha

The City of Kenosha has declared a snow emergency beginning at 7 a.m. Jan. 12 to Jan. 13 at 6:00 p.m.  Parking is prohibited on all city streets during the snow emergency. 

Menomonee Falls

Snow emergency in effect from 8 a.m. Jan. 12-8 a.m. Jan. 14. Parking on public streets in the Village of Menomonee Falls is prohibited during the snow emergency. 

Milwaukee 

The City of Milwaukee declared a snow emergency on Saturday, Dec. 13 during a conference. The emergency has been declared from Saturday, Jan. 13, until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15. There is no parking allowed on main streets from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Alternate side parking will be required on streets from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The city reminded people to read parking signs before parking. Mount Pleasant

A snow emergency has been declared in the Village of Mount Pleasant from 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11- 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13. No parking will be permitted on either side of the village's cul de sacs. Alternate side parking will be in effect from 2 a.m.-6 a.m. Vehicles in violation will be ticketed and subject to towing. 

New Berlin

New Berlin's snow emergency began at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 12 and will extend through Saturday, Jan. 13 at 4 p.m.

Street parking is prohibited during the snow emergency, and parking is not allowed on a street, alley or public parking lot during the snow emergency. Any vehicle that may interfere with snow removal operations, or any emergency vehicles, may be removed at the owner's expense.

Pleasant Prairie

A snow emergency has been declared in the Village of Pleasant Prairie beginning at midnight Jan. 11 until noon Jan. 13. No parking is allowed on village streets during the snow emergency. All snow emergency parking restrictions will be enforced throughout this time. 

Racine

A snow emergency has been declared for the City of Racine for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, to 12:00 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14. No parking shall be permitted on either side of the city's arterial and collector streets. As always, alternate parking will be in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., per city ordinance. 

Sheboygan 

The City of Sheboygan has declared a snow emergency which will be in effect until 8:00 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14.

Per a release from the Sheboygan Police Department, parking is completely prohibited on all snow emergency routes, boulevards, cul-de-sacs, and dead-end streets. If you are currently parked in violation, please move your vehicle immediately or it may be towed.

Somers

The Village/Town of Somers has declared a snow emergency. The snow emergency will be in effect from 6:00 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, to Saturday, Jan. 13, at 6:00 p.m. Parking is prohibited on roadways during a snow emergency. Residents are reminded to park their vehicles accordingly. 

St. Francis

The City of St. Francis will be declaring a snow emergency from 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Jan 12, to 12:00 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14. 

Union Grove

The village of Union Grove has declared a snow emergency starting at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 12 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13. During a snow emergency, there is no parking on any village streets. 

Vernon

The village of Vernon has declared a snow emergency for Friday, Jan. 12, and Saturday, Jan. 13.

Wauwatosa

The City of Wauwatosa's has declared a snow emergency, beginning at noon on Friday, Jan. 12 and ending at noon on Saturday, Jan. 13.

West Allis

A snow emergency will be in effect in West Allis starting Friday, Jan. 12, at 12:00 p.m., and will end on Sunday, Jan. 14 at 12:00 p.m.
