Feeling more like an early day in June than July, right?!. Speaking of, the last month has just come to an end and it was a dry one. Check it out: Today all the talk was about flooding rain in Chicago. They set a new record rainfall for today's date at 3.35". As you can see that was far more in one day than we got all last month!The good news is we do have some rain in the days ahead.
The city of Milwaukee has fireworks tomorrow and the weather looks to cooperate. Tuesday, July 4th, however, may find a few storms. A cold front will be approaching from the west, and while the best chance for widespread storms as the front passes through will be Wednesday, The heat on Tuesday may be enough to spark a few storms. Here's a look at the afternoon: Not all models agree with this solution, but given a holiday where many people will be enjoying the outdoors, just keep an eye to the sky and be prepared to take it indoors if storms brew overhead.
