Key takeaways in 2024 matchups, top issues for voters
It's been another scorcher across the Badger State today with highs climbing well into the 90s everywhere! Milwaukee topped out at 94°, tying the record high of 94° set in 1925.
Many spots in southeast Wisconsin shattered their record highs for today.
While Sunday will still be hot, temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday as a few clouds start to work in from the south during the afternoon. We'll likely come up short of the record high of 94° on Sunday, but most spots will warm to either side of 90°. We'll also be watching for a lake breeze that may cool lakeside areas during the afternoon.
Temperatures will still be well above normal as we start the new week, but it won't be quite as hot as we'll have more clouds around and hit or miss showers and storms.
We'll also see an uptick in humidity as we progress through the first half of the work week, which will help fuel those pop up storm chances.
Weather will be dry to end the weekend and to start the day on Monday, but pop up storms will be possible by Monday afternoon.
