(CBS 58) – May is Healthy Vision Month.
It’s a time when people are encouraged to take steps to protect their vision.
That includes getting comprehensive dilated eye exams, knowing your eye health history and wearing protective eyewear when playing sports or doing other activities around the home.
CBS 58 spoke with Daniele Cangemi, the Director of Programming for the nonprofit, OneSight.
OneSight works to provide vision care to those in need through clinics and centers in 53 countries.
