VISIT Milwaukee preview: March 29-31
The agenda pushed by the White House faced harsh criticism from opponents. A group of about 25 people, some who work in healthcare voiced their criticisms on the Republicans approach to healthcare.
"Mr. Vice President, we know our health system has to be fairer, simpler, and more affordable. But your dishonest claims are taking Americans in the opposite direction."
At the event put on by Citizen Action of Wisconsin, doctors talked about how the Affordable Care Act also known as Obamacare has helped some of their patients get the treatment that they would not have received under the previous system.
They say the healthcare systems can be improved but Republican's current proposal is a step backward.
