Health Department warning after microscopic tick found in Wisconsin

The South Milwaukee Health Department is warning parents after a resident found microscopic ticks on her children. Ticks of all sizes may carry bacteria and infection that can make you sick.
A mother removed eleven larval stage ticks from her children.
The children got the ticks just by playing in their backyard. They had not played in any wooded or park areas and had not spent any time up north.
