LOCATED: MPD cancels Silver Alert for missing 63-year-old man

The Silver Alert for Daniel L. Horton, 63, has been canceled.

Milwaukee police say Horton has been located.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- The Milwaukee Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 63-year-old critical missing adult,

Daniel L. Horton.

Police say Horton was last seen walking eastbound on Locust from 2nd Street on Friday, Jan. 23 around 10:30 a.m.

Horton is 5'9 and 120 pounds. He has black and grey hair, low cut, and a goatee He was last seen wearing a black winter coat (water-proof material), black jeans, black Lugz suede winter boots, a black, red, and white striped winter cap with a ball on top, and a red, black, green plaid sweater made of cotton material under the jacket. He was also wearing a face mask that was blue and white.

He walks with a limp and is missing some upper teeth.

Police say Horton also suffers from dementia and has been known to get confused and forget his own name.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Milwaukee Police Department's Sensitive Crimes Division from 7:00 AM to 4:00 AM or the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 414-935-7360 between the hours of 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
