Hartford Police Searching for Man in Child Enticement Incident

Hartford Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly tried to get a 13-year-old girl in his vehicle.

According to police, the incident happened on Monday around 7:30 AM.

A 13-year-old was trying to open a friend’s garage door when an older, small, red four-door vehicle with tinted windows, oval headlights and a black mark on the driver’s side front quarter panel pulled into the driveway.

The male subject opened the driver’s door and to her to “come here.” When she did not, he again told her to “come here.”

She then ran behind the garage and waited until she heard the car door slam.

The driver is descried as a white male with a medium build. He is in his early 20s and is 5-feet 9-inches tall. He had oval prescription glasses and was wearing a dark jacket, work boots and a white collared shirt.

He is described as having light brown hair. He had a couple days of facial hair growth.

The driver is sought for questioning regarding his actions.
