Hartford Police investigating report of multiple shots fired from a vehicle

HARTFORD Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Hartford Police Department is investigating after receiving a report of multiple gunshots being fired from a vehicle with a loud exhaust.

It happened Sunday around 8:15 p.m. in the area of High Road and Monroe Avenue, near the city's eastern border. 

According to police, the surrounding area was checked with the assistance of the Slinger Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

The suspect's vehicle was not located and no evidence of anyone or anything being struck by gunfire was observed or reported.
