HARTFORD, Wis. (CBS 58) --- Hartford Fire and Rescue Department was dispatched for a fire at a hangar at the Hartford Airport early Saturday, Feb. 6.
Officials say it happened shortly after 12:30 a.m. Upon arrival, the unoccupied building was fully involved in fire.
Hartford Fire and Rescue Department said fire crews battled the fire and extreme cold conditions until 4:30 a.m.
There were no injuries reported.
Damages are estimated up to be $250,000 as the building and all of its contents were a total loss.
Hartford Fire and Rescue Department was assisted by the Hartford Police Department, Hartford Electric and DPW, Lifestar EMS, Slinger Fire Department, St. Lawrence Fire Company, Allenton Volunteer Fire Department, Neosho Fire Department and Rescue, Iron Ridge Fire Department, Ashippun Fire Department, Richfield Volunteer Fire Company, and Germantown Wisconsin Fire Department. Officials say WE Energies and Hartford Community Response Team also assisted the firefighters.
