MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) A popular outdoor winter event is returning to Three Bridges Park in Milwaukee this Saturday, Feb. 26.
The Urban Candlelight Hike returns for another year. A candlelit path on the Hank Aaron State Trail invites friends and families outside for a fun winter adventure in Milwaukee’s Menomonee River Valley.
Year after year, hardy hikers donned with stocking caps, mittens, and their cheery Midwestern spirit are rewarded with an evening of campfires, marshmallow roasting, food trucks, hot drinks, and special activities along the trail.
Angelica Sanchez is the branch manager at the Menomonee Valley Urban Ecology Center. She joined CBS 58 on Thursday, Feb. 24 to tell us more about the event.
