Halsey cancels tour, Summerfest show due to COVID-19

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Halsey recently announced she has canceled her 'Manic' tour due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in Summerfest losing one of its 2021 headliners. 

Summerfest had to cancel its entire lineup last year due to coronavirus. 

Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., producer of Summerfest, said they are disappointed by the announcement.

"While we are disappointed Halsey's tour will not play the American Family Insurance Amphitheater this summer, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. continues to build a diverse, blockbuster Summerfest lineup for our fans," they said in a statement. "Our team is working closely with civic officials and health care professionals to safely bring live music ack to the lakefront."
