Gunfight In A Parking Lot Leaves Two Wounded Near 42nd and Burleigh

MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee Police officer was on patrol near 42nd and Burleigh when he came upon a gunfight occurring in a parking lot.
The officer immediately called for assistance and then took one armed suspect, a 27-year-old, into custody. That suspect suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital.
The second shooting suspect, a 24-year-old, was later arrested at a local hospital.
Two others were also arrested on the scene for battery to a police officer during their investigation.
The shooting victims are expected to survive and the investigation remains ongoing.
