Greenfield Middle School on lock down for bank robbery search

Greenfield Police officers responded to Great Midwest Bank for the report of a robbery. Bank employees say the suspect demanded money from a teller and said he had a gun. The suspect got the money and fled from the scene on foot.

With assistance from neighboring agencies, Greenfield Police officers conducted an exhaustive search of the area but were unable
to locate the suspect. Greenfield Middle School was on lock down as a precautionary measure.

The suspect is described as a white man wearing a blue polo shirt and tan pants with white paint on them and a blue baseball hat. If you see him police ask that you do not approach him and call police at 761-5310.
