Greendale Police warning about threatening email scam

GREENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Greendale Police are warning about an unusually aggressive email scam. 

They say two people got a message from someone using the name "Sniper Banger." 

The message says the sender has been paid $75,000 to "terminate" the receiver of the email.

The email demands a payment of $45,000 and adds "my men are monitoring you telling me everything about you." 

The email tells the receiver not to call the police. Greendale Police say that's what you should do.
