Green and Gold Grooming Takes Place for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

John Kuhn and former Packer Santana Dotson kicked off "Movember" early at Froedert Hospital. The guys joined Frank Krupkowski, a Prostate Cancer Survivor, to get shaved and raise awareness about the importance of prostate cancer screenings.

Both men talked about the importance of early detection.

And they're having some fun with the campaign too.

"I'm going to do the whole beard thing.  I've got a couple of daughters and they like dad with facial hair. So I'm going to try to do the duck dynasty thing by the end of the month," said Santana Dotson.

"I might have to have my helmet readjusted and chin strap fitted when I get back. I hope I don't scare any of my teammates when I walk in the building," Kuhn said.

The public is encouraged to get involved by growing out their own facial hair in November and sharing pictures using the hashtag #grow your support.

About one in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime.
