Governor Walker to Announce Presidential Endorsement on Tuesday

(AP) Governor Scott Walker announced he will give his presidential endorsement on Tuesday, the day of the GOP Town Hall in Milwaukee.

Governor Scott Walker will announce his formal decision in the Republican Presidential Primary Tuesday morning at 9:05 AM on a radio show.

He had previously said he would back the GOP nominee, but as Wisconsin's April 5 primary nears, he's signaled that he would back Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

Walker said last week that Cruz was the only candidate who had a chance at beating front-runner Donald Trump. When Walker ended his own short-lived presidential bid in September, he called on others to join him so it would be easier to take on Trump.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich also remains in the race and is actively campaigning in Wisconsin.
