Governor Walker Announces Three Finalists for Supreme Court Vacancy

Governor Scott Walker today announced three finalists for the Wisconsin Supreme Court vacancy created by Justice David Prosser’s retirement.
- Honorable Mark Gundrum, Wisconsin Court of Appeals District II
- Honorable Thomas Hruz, Wisconsin Court of Appeals District III
- Attorney Daniel Kelly, Rogahn Kelly LLC
According to a release by Walker, the three finalists were recommended to Governor Walker by Rich Zipperer, chief of staff to the governor and licensed attorney, Michael Brennan, chair of the governor’s Judicial Selection Advisory Committee, and Andrew Hitt, former deputy legal counsel to the governor.
Governor Walker will now interview the three finalists and make his selection prior to Justice Prosser’s retirement, which is effective on July 31, 2016.
