WAUSAU, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Governor Evers worked to help fix a road in the Wausau area Monday, with a shovel in hand.
"We put a high bar out there for the legislature, as it's related to transportation," Evers said.
With the new budget, the DOT says to expect to see more orange barrels as they get to work fixing potholes and rough roads.
Gov. Evers says taxpayers should not have to face increasing fees every time roads need to be fixed.
