GOP Speaker Race in Turmoil as Rep. Kevin McCarthy Withdraws Bid

(CNN) -- House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has dropped out the race to succeed retiring Speaker John Boehner, according to House Republicans. Boehner has postponed internal leadership elections that were supposed to start on Thursday.
