MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As March comes to a close, Google Technology Expert Elizabeth Howard joined us on Thursday, March 30 to recap some of the most trending topics throughout the month.

Topics highlighted various aspects of entertainment, culture, science, sports and more.

In entertainment, the Oscars and HBO drama "Succession" generated significant interest. As for culture, St. Patrick's Day and Women's History Month saw spikes in searches related to green clothing, recipes and important women in history.

Sleep and Daylight Savings drew attention in the science category, with searches for the permanent end of daylight savings time drawing high interest.

In sports, March Madness dominated, with brackets and the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament emerging as top trending topics.

Odd news featured astrology and moon phases, with searches exploring the lunar phase's connection to soulmate selection.
