Glorioso's Italian Market to close on Mondays due to labor shortage

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Glorioso's Italian Market has announced plans to begin closing on Mondays due to a "critical labor shortage at the market."

“We continue to have labor shortages across all departments, said Michael Glorioso, general manager of the store. “As a result, we have had to take several immediate actions, including closing the store on Mondays, to provide some relief for our overworked staff. We will continue to monitor this situation until we can add the appropriate number of staff to the teams.”

The store will be closed on Monday, June 14 and Monday, June 21 and will announce future closings going forward.

“We will continue to focus on creating a positive and engaging environment for our patrons and our employees. We take pride in providing a great working environment for our employees, so we hope that we can soon return to our normal business operations with full staff.”
