Glass and Aluminum Panels Assembled on Northwestern Mutual Building

Nearly 50 people are now on the job of making the new Northwestern Mutual building looks nice and spiffy.

They are assembling the glass and aluminum panels that will become the exterior of the new 32 story downtown building.

Many of the workers are Milwaukee natives who got this gig through the city's Residents Preference Program which helps unemployed or underemployed people find work .

Many of the people who found work during the Northwestern Mutual construction will get opportunities in the workforce even after the building is finished.
