Giannis named to All-NBA First Team for 5th straight year

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named to the All-NBA First Team.

This is the Bucks superstar's fifth straight year he has been selected to the All-NBA First Team.

Giannis averaged a career-high 31.1 points (5th in NBA), 11.8 rebounds (tied for 2nd in NBA) and 5.7 assists per game. He did all of that while shooting 55.3% from the field.

Giannis also ranked 5th in the league in both double-doubles (46) and triple-doubles (6).

Throughout the season, Giannis earned four Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors and was team captain for the 2023 NBA All-Star game.

Giannis has now passed Kareem Abdul-Jabar for the most First Team selections in Milwaukee Bucks history.

He joins Luka Doncic, Joel Embiid, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jayson Taytum on the All-NBA First Team.
