On top of a group of transfer corners coming in, the Badgers also have an exciting group of freshman corners for the 2022 season, and Jones is one of them.

Player Summary:

On top of football, Jones was also a track athlete for his first two years in high school. His athleticism translated over to the football field where he earned First-Team All-District after an impressive junior season.

Jones was recruited as a corner, but he also played safety in high school, and he became a reliable player there as well.  

Jones also has impressive ball skills and does a terrific job diagnosing plays. He is also physical. Many times in high school, you would see Jones come out of nowhere with his explosiveness to prevent the opposing player from making the catch.

Jones is a really intriguing player because he can make plays from just about anywhere in the secondary. He certainly has the talent to be a future starter in the Badgers secondary.
