Get a sneak peak of UWM basketball season

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee basketball fans are getting the chance to get a sneak peek at the 2014-15 season.

Milwaukee Men's Basketball Coach Rob Jeter's squad is holding its annual intrasquad scrimmage tonight at 6 p.m. at the Klotsche Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The scrimmage is free and open to the public. 

At noon on October 30, Milwaukee will host the annual Tip-Off Luncheon at UWM Panther Arena. Jeter and the women's basketball head coach will provide a preview of the upcoming season. Players from both teams will also be there. 

Tickets for the Milwaukee Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon are $25 and can be purchased by calling the Panthers Ticket Office at (414) 229-5886. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets by October 27. 

That same day, an open house will be held at UWM Panther Arena from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. During that time, fans can stop by and look at and select available seats for season ticket and mini-plan packages. 

The Milwaukee men's basketball program officially opens the season at Auburn on November 14. The women play November 16 at North Dakota State.
