Germantown Police arrest man after chase, search

GERMANTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) – A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested early Thursday morning for suspicion of driving impaired after leading police on a chase and search in Germantown.

Authorities say an officer spotted a car driving recklessly around 2:45 a.m. on Interstate 41 near Holy Hill Rd.

The officer attempted to stop the car but the driver did not comply, according to police. A chase began and continued off the highway onto Holy Hill Rd. The officer then located the abandoned car in a farmer’s field. A search perimeter was set up. The suspect driver and a passenger were eventually found and taken into custody.

They are both facing several charges.
