Germantown middle school teacher arrested for marijuana

GERMANTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Germantown Police tell CBS 58 that a Kennedy Middle School teacher was arrested and cited after police confiscated a small amount of marijuana.

Police were called to the school after a student found and turned in a small box containing a pipe and marijuana which police called a "one-hitter". The teacher told police it was hers.

The teacher was arrested, cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and released.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon.

The Germantown School District declined to comment.
