Something different is coming to German Fest this year! The Timbersports Series Championships featuring the top lumberjack athletes in the country will be at German Fest from July 28th-30th at the BMO Harris Pavilion.
Athletes will compete in 6 sawing and chopping disciplines. After all, many consider lumberjacking the original extreme sport.
"Stihl Timbersports is as close as you can get to the early on techniques of the industry and we just take it to a racing application. It's about as extreme as you can get," said Matthew Kogar, Timbersports athlete.
Admission to the Timbersports series is included in your German Fest admission.
German Fest starts Friday at 3 p.m. at Maier Festival Park. There will be a $3 ticket special and military and veterans will get in for free.
