German Fest took place at the Summerfest Grounds over the weekend. Many turned out for a celebration of German culture.
It was also the first year that the Timbersports Series Championships came to Maier Festival Park.
Festival-goers shared with CBS 58 News their favorite parts of the festival.
"The red cabbage, love the red cabbage, and the beef goulash, and we have a pork shank yesterday, it was awesome, and some dumpling, just some good German food," said Lois Spietz.
