General Manager Doug Melvin to transition to advisory role for Brewers

Brewers general manager Doug Melvin will move into an advisory role, it was revealed on Tuesday, and the team will begin a search for a new General Manager immediately.
The team has hired the executive search firm Korn Ferry and will target younger candidates with knowledge of analytics.
