Garza, Carter lead Brewers to 4-2 win over Pirates

Keon Broxton and Chris Carter homered and Jeremy Jeffress picked up another save as the Brewers completed a three game sweep of the Pirates with a 4-2 win Sunday.

Matt Garza allowed two runs over five innings, and Brewers relievers shut down the Pirates' bats over the final four innings. Jonathan Lucroy, who vetoed a trade to the Cleveland Indians early Sunday morning, appeared as a pinch hitter to a standing ovation in what might be his final appearance with the Brewers. The MLB trade deadline is Monday afternoon, and Lucroy is still being linked to several interested teams.

Milwaukee finished off a 6-1 week by scoring in each of the first three innings. They head to San Diego and Arizona in the coming week, with the future of several players up in the air because of the impending trade deadline.
