Gardner, No. 17 Marquette beat Southern

Senior forward Davante Gardner scored 25 points, helping lead Marquette by Southern 63-56 Friday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Junior guard Todd Mayo added 20 points for the Golden Eagles.
The win extends Marquette's home-game win streak to 26 games, second longest in the nation.
