Funeral Saturday for Clintonville girl that died following fireworks explosion

CLINTONVILLE, Wis. (WSAW) -- Funeral services will be held Saturday for a 4-year-old girl that died Tuesday as result of a fireworks accident.

The funeral for Alyssa Chmielewski is scheduled to take place at noon at Calvary Apostolic Church.

Her obituary describes her as a caring little girl who liked to pretend to be a ballerina and loved her green scooter.

The Clintonville Police said the girl died after a family member arranged several "sparkler type" fireworks inside a metal tube, causing an explosion.

Chmielewski died as result of her injuries.
