Fun with fans on day 3 of Summerfest
Many people talk about all the people watching during Summerfest. But if you spend any time talking to the people you'll learn about some great community driven traditions that make the festival so enjoyable.
CBS 58's Michele McCormack wandered Henry Maier Park Friday afternoon during the live broadcast of the CBS 58 News at 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The afternoon news program will be broadcasting live from Marcus Amphitheater each weekday for the entire music festival.
She came across a group of retired Kenosha teachers who make a point of getting together this time of year as often as they can.
\"We come for the food, the men and the music, all of the above,\" one of them, Jenny, answered.
They were all decked out in red. It was Red Day at Summerfest, meaning free entry between noon and 3 p.m. for anyone wearing the color.
A group from St. Cloud, Minnesota decided to go festival chic. They were here to see Pat Benatar. The young ladies' flowing maxi-dress and short set added a hip flavor to the array of clothing you'll see people decked out in for the 11 day run.

Saturday, June 27th noon-3 p.m.
The first 1,500 patrons who make a donation to a Goodwill Store & Donation Center between June 1 – 27, 2015 and bring in their specially marked original Goodwill Summerfest donation receipt will receive one (1) FREE admission ticket, valid for the day of the promotion only. One (1) donation receipt per person. Only original receipts received at a Goodwill Store & Donation Center dated June 1-27, 2015 will be accepted. Arrive early, this is a popular promotion!
Sunday, June 28 12:00 – 3:00 pm or while supplies last
KOHL'S FAMILY DAY The first 2,500 patrons who donate three (3) non-perishable food items for kids will receive one (1) FREE admission ticket, valid for the day of the promotion only. Suggested items include peanut butter, canned fruit and macaroni and cheese. All donations to benefit Hunger Task Force. Arrive early, this is a popular promotion!
Tuesday, June 30 12:00 – 3:00 pm
SENTRY FOODS AND DEAN'S MILK & ICE CREAM CHILDREN'S FEST DAY All patrons arriving between Noon – 3:00 pm will be admitted FREE! Spend a fun-filled day with the family enjoying Children's Fest activities including the Map of Fun and the Family Ticket Package giveaway contest. Select food vendors will offer discounts on food and beverage items.

MOUNTAIN DEW DAY The first 2,500 patrons who present a specially marked Mountain Dew can with the Summerfest offer on the can will receive one (1) FREE Weekday Admission ticket, valid for the day of the promotion only. Limit one can per person.
Wednesday, July 1 12:00 – 4:00 pm
DIRECT SUPPLY SENIORFEST DAY All patrons age 60 and up will be admitted FREE when they check in at any gate. Those seniors will also receive an offer for $2 off a food and beverage (non-alcoholic) purchase over $10. Spend a fun-filled day enjoying Rhythm and Blues from the 40's and 50's band performances and more! Check out exhibits and enjoy additional programming.

BOSTON STORE DAY The first 1,500 patrons that present an original receipt from any Boston Store will receive one (1) FREE Weekday Admission ticket, valid for the day of the promotion only. Receipt must be dated between June 2 – July 2, 2015. No copies or handwritten receipts will be accepted.

H.O.G.® DAY AT SUMMERFEST Receive one (1) FREE Weekday Admission ticket, valid for the day of the promotion only, when presenting a valid H.O.G.® (Harley Owners Group®) card. One admission per card. In addition, H.O.G. members will have exclusive access to the Harley-Davidson™ Hospitality Deck located at the Harley-Davidson™ Roadhouse between 5:00 – 9:00 pm. Limited space: first come, first served. Once the deck reaches capacity, access will be on a “one out, one in” basis.

NORTHWESTERN MUTUAL “MAKE A CHILD SMILE” DAY The first 1,500 patrons who donate new or gently used children's books (preferably picture books and early readers for children ages 5-9 years old) with a $10 minimum value will receive one (1) FREE admission ticket, valid for the day of the promotion only. All books collected will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
