Friendship Lake water levels being watched closely

The Adams County Sheriff's Office is continuing to monitor water levels in Friendship Lake and the surrounding area after an open dam caused flash flooding Saturday morning.
State Highway 13 is no longer being detoured. Several town roads including 10th Avenue and 11th Avenue are also open.
County Highway N is the only road that remains closed as of Sunday afternoon. Officials expect that the road could reopen, pending an inspection, on Monday.
