Freezing rain is just the beginning

Freezing rain advisory for all of Southeastern Wisconsin until 6 pm Friday. Driving will be dangerous on untreated roads.



*** Winter Storm Watch ***



Waukesha, Ozaukee and Walworth counties from Saturday evening through Sunday for 6 inches of snow or more.



Tonight:  Light rain, freezing drizzle, sleet and light snow develop and continue through the night with lows in the upper 20's inland to low 30's lakeside.  Significant icing is possible for inland counties by Friday morning.



Friday:  Light rain, freezing drizzle, sleet and light snow taper off by the afternoon with highs in the low 30's.  Winds are gusty out of the northeast at 10 to 20 mph.  Most of the area will be left under an icy crusting.



This Weekend:   Skies are mostly cloudy Saturday with rain and snow developing in the evening.  High temps reach the upper 20's.  Snow tapers off by early Sunday afternoon with high temps in the upper 20's.  Some of our inland counties could see in excess of 6 inches of snow with this storm but the exact track is still uncertain.
