Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly Launches Online Organic Store

Consumers looking to order organic items from the comfort of their couch now have a new option in Southeast Wisconsin.

Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly has launched a new 'Online Organic Store', featuring roughly 12,000 organic items not found in stores.

     "We want customers to be able to go online and get the products without having to drive to a natural or organic store," says Manager Dick Elman. "We priced everything to be competitive."

The online store is powered by GrocerKey, which reached an agreement with Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly earlier this year. 

"The consumers were asking for more organic and gluten free items," says Store Director Daniel Brandt. "We heard them, and we went to bat and that's what we found." 

CBS58 compared many of the items to those found on sites like Amazon, and found that claim to be true. 

      "We looked at it, and over 2/3 of items had savings and some of them very significant versus Amazon," says Elman. 

Most of the items are non-perishable, including health and fitness supplements, food and beverage items, and personal care items.

Shipping is free on orders over $35, and $4.99 for orders less than $35.
